Position Summary:

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Accepting new business and being in charge of the ongoing trust administration and investment management administration assigned to new business
• Directs disbursements of funds according to the conditions of the trust or investment management agreement
• Establishes and maintains client histories through the administration of the trust and investment management accounts
• Serve as the primary contact for the client
• Reviews all documentation pertaining to the account and consults as necessary with client's attorney who drafts legal documents specifying the details, conditions, and duration of trust
• In the case of the Investment Management account, the Trust Officer ensures that the administrative documents are signed and are in order prior to funding the account as well as administering the account per the directives of the client
• Analyze, recommend, and refer clients who have additional estate planning needs to the appropriate resources

Experience and Job Related Requirements:
• College degree required
• Minimum of 5-10 years working in a trust company as a trust officer required
• Certified Trust Financial Advisor (CTFA) certification is preferred, must be obtained within 5 years
• Must have extensive knowledge of laws and regulations regarding trusts and investment management services
• Competent in estate planning, trust tax return review, and charitable giving issues and taxation
• Excellent people skills required
• Ability to respond to emerging needs, work on many diverse projects, and coordinate with diverse groups

Job Requirements

Candidate must have a Masters in Electrical Engineering and have at least 2-3 years’ experience as a consulting engineer under the direct supervision of a licensed PE. Candidate should be prepared to sit for the Professional Engineering exam (P.E.) within 12 months of hire.

This position must have a good working knowledge of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting.
